    Full time, 36.5 hours per week, plus banked hours, to be worked during term-time, typically Monday to Thursday 08.

    Contract: 1-year fixed term

    We are seeking a talented individual to take specific responsibility and accountability for the daily management and organisation of interventions delivered within the Centre.

    With experience of working with challenging young people you will demonstrate a commitment to their improvement.
    Full and comprehensive training will be given to support the transition.
    Many of our young people have gaps in their education.

    You will need to have a creative approach to reduce the impact of educational disadvantage, enabling all our Young People to access learning and make expected progress.

    You must demonstrate a proven track record of leading and / or delivering intervention and successfully improving student performance.

    We are looking for a team player who can relate well with all stakeholders and help to inspire young people, whilst developing and supporting the needs of the whole Young Person and be committed to enabling all Young People to thrive.

    James Brindley is a stand-alone Academy based in a wide variety of locations across the City of Birmingham.

    During a school year, we educate over 3,000 young people for periods ranging from a few days in hospital to several years in one of our teaching centres.

    Many of our young people have complex medical needs and many have been out of education for a significant period prior to joining us.

    We offer a full-time curriculum to young people from EYFS to KS5 and our aim is always to enable them to 'close the gap' and to exceed expected progress during the time they are with us.
