- Using your strong data and commercial skills assist in the analysis and production of budgeting, forecasting and business planning for the fund including. forecasting, preparation of management packs, deviation analysis.
- Assist in analysis and evaluation of ad-hoc strategic projects, such as launching of new funds/strategies/product development, M&A, team lift-outs, fundraising initiatives
- Develop detailed KPI system and provide analysis on a range of business topics, incl. analysis of fundraising, deployment, concentration and risk metrics. Present results independently to senior team members across the firm
- Assist in analysis and evaluation of new strategies, incl. detailed understanding of fund modelling, preparation of materials for internal approval, business planning, operational readiness etc.
- Assist in evaluating commercial proposals for new funds /strategies/products from a business perspective
- Responding to investor requests incl. data analysis and presentation
- Work closely with IT in developing KPI systems and control processes
- Advanced financial/data modelling skills in EXCEL, you must be able to build models from scratch.
- Strong presentation skills, given the exposure to the C-suite, being comfortable producing and delivering decks (PPT) to senior stakeholders is key
- You could be ACA/CFA/FRM qualified and will have a strong work ethic
- a background in financial services is preferred but not essential- for example you could be in the corporate development team of a PLC or an Investment Banking Anlyst programme or the transaction services team of the Big four.
- You must have an excellent academic record ideally studying a STEM subject from a top university.
- a self-starter able to own multiple projects with competing deadlines
- You must have right to work in the UK without sponsorship
