    About us

    MyEdSpace is changing education in the UK. Our mission is to make a world-class education truly accessible to all. We provide tech-enabled, live teaching from the best teachers in the country, at extremely affordable rates. Our students receive access to our award-winning learning platform to provide a modern and engaging learning environment, like no other. We currently offer Maths, Chemistry and Biology courses - we will be adding other subjects shortly. We are the first socially-led education company - we turn our teachers into influencers to engage our audience. We currently have over 1.9 million followers across our social media accounts and are growing at an unprecedented rate. We have a unique approach to content and have consistently been able to make viral content. We currently have over 1,700 active students on our platform and are experiencing rapid growth. We are expanding our team in order to sustain this growth.

    We have recently completed our Seed round - we are now backed by one of the best venture capital funds in the edtech space. Our founders have backgrounds in tech investing & investment banking and are also multiple-time founders/operators. We are growing quickly and have ambitious scaling plans. This is an opportunity to get exposure to a start-up at an early stage, working directly in the founder's team, within a business that is having a real positive impact on society.

    About the role

    We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be working directly with, and reporting to, our Co-Founders. In true start-up fashion, this is an incredibly varied role where you will be involved in projects across all functions of the company – expect to work across marketing, sales, customer success, strategy, HR, business development and more. All internships at MyEdSpace are paid positions. This is a 3-month internship (full-time) with the aim to evolve into a full-time position – our goal is to develop you into a valuable member of the team

    Responsibilities

    You will be expected to:

    • Work closely with the founders, and broader team, across all functions of the business to help define, develop and implement company objectives
    • Assist in building the operations of the company and implement key processes, decision-making frameworks, and automating workflows in order to prepare to scale-up
    • Sell to potential customers, learn from them and answer their questions
    • Work with the marketing & content teams to generate, record and edit viral content
    • Work on ad-hoc projects as requested by the founders, i.e. financial modelling, compliance tasks, competitor analysis, etc.

    Profile

    The ideal candidate for this role:

    • You are a recent graduate with a 2:1 or above (or equivalent) from a top University
    • You have excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills
    • You are adaptable and hardworking
    • You get things done today, not tomorrow
    • You are comfortable with high levels of end-to-end responsibility
    • You are honest, transparent and open to feedback in order to improve. We are extremely honest with everyone in the team, including upward feedback
    • You are incredibly organized, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple complex projects and responsibilities simultaneously
