    Job Description

    Economic Regulation Manager

    Do you have a strong background in cost analysis, pricing or regulatory economics? Have you got exposure to a regulated sector?

    We are working with a driving force in the energy transition industry who are looking for a new Economic Regulation Manager to join their team. You'll be integral to establishing a sustainable energy supply for the future, and will be joining the business at a really exciting time of growth.

    Economic Regulation Manager - What you'll do:

    • Lead on relevant regulatory policies and price control submissions
    • Take the lead on industry papers on price control, risks and financial performance
    • ​Develop and embed transitional operational performance regimes
    • ​Provide analytical and policy support across economic regulation issues

    Economic Regulation Manager - What you'll need:

    • Degree in Economics or other analytical field
    • Experience working in a regulated industry (utilities or telecoms sector experience would be highly desirable)
    • Experience influencing and presenting to stakeholders
    • Proven ability to provide analysis on regulatory / policy / business issues

    Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus

    Location: London (hybrid working)

    This Economic Regulation Manager role would suit someone with utilities sector experience that has a strong knowledge of both the costing/pricing and economic complexities of the utilities market.
