    The Research Centre for Health (ReaCH) in the School of Health & Life Sciences has an international reputation for delivering high impact research. In the recent Research Excellence Framework assessment () % of GCU's health related research has been formally classified as world-leading or internationally excellent. More over, the impact of GCU's applied health research was classified as 'outstanding' and surpassed by only one other UK institution.     The successful candidate will join the Department of Podiatry and Radiography and the , an inter-disciplinary research group of health professionals, human movement scientists and engineers within the School of Health and Life Sciences.

    GCU has secured Chief Scientist Office funding for a project entitled: Motivational interviewing for the prevention of diabetes related foot ulceration in people exposed to multiple deprivation: a pilot trial. We require a part time researcher to aid the successful delivery of the project with responsibilities including: trial set up, development of study materials, collaborating with external partners, engaging with stakeholders, data collection and analysis of qualitative interviews.

    We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual with a track record of supporting funded research studies or clinical trials. Applicants must have effective organisational and management skills, experience of data management, effective team working skills and the ability to work independently and to use own initiative. Prior experience of the following would be advantageous: qualitative data collection and analysis; working with people from areas of multiple deprivation; patient and public involvement in research activities.
