    Do you:


    Have a strong commitment to safety, health, environment and qualityHave the ability to manage the grid connection process from concept through to delivery and operation Understand the liabilities, securities and compliance requirements for grid connectionsLike to build relationships with clients and stakeholdersKnow how to undertake electrical equipment sizing studies for renewable projects and transmission systemsKnow how to produce technical requirements and specifications for renewable generation projects Enjoy undertaking technical and commercial due diligence activitiesBelieve in ensuring that Grid and Electrical lifetime costs are optimised during the origination, design, construction and operation of renewable generation projects.

    Know how to model power systems and enjoy the challenge of conducting a variety of power system studies for renewable projects.

    Know how to using software like DiGSILENT, PSCAD, MATLAB and ETAPHave a minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical / power systems engineering or similarEnjoy coding in either R, Python, VBA or MatlabEnjoy modelling harmonics for renewables technology and gridsEnjoy learning, working on a wide variety of projects and creating disruptive products and ideas within the renewables industryWant to work with our software team to help an agile, growing and ambitious SME build tools and services which can be used on renewable projects globallyKnow how to model wind turbine generators and optimise network performance to meet grid code compliance standardsWork on the basis of mutual trust and are self-motivated / driven to learnLike to work in an environment where new ideas and different ways of doing things are welcomedWant to help create a grid and electrical centre of excellence within our business If the answer is yes then please apply below and enjoy such benefits as:Competitive salary with a per annum dependant on experienceUnlimited holiday policy (with a minimum of 28 days)Flexible working based on a standard 36 hour weekNo rules culturePrivate health insuranceCommon bonus scheme where all employees receive an equal bonusDaily morale boosts from our resident office dogSalary band 4 (£41k - £62k) depending on experience We are based in central Edinburgh with an office less than 10 minutes' walk from Waverley station.
