    H R Operations Manager - £52,000 - £55,000 – 9 Month Maternity Cover – June start

    Triangle Recruitment, working in partnership with a leading Logistics and Supply Chain Management Organisation whose team of specialists deliver end-to-end global supply chain solutions incorporating logistics, warehousing and customs clearance into all kinds of sectors, including automotive, aerospace, retail, FMCG, pharmaceutical and healthcare are looking to recruit an experienced HR Operations Manager .

    The role is extremely hands on, liaising with all departments and you will assist with the management of the overall HR Operations and the delivery of strategic objectives. Experience in HR, with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, is required.

    Responsibilities include

    ·Implement the people strategy, HR policies, procedures and plans. Including annual handbook review.

    ·Manage employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, sickness and redundancy.

    ·Implement HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.

    ·Manage and support junior members of the HR team.

    ·Work within and apply key business drivers to people management.

    ·Identify and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale building.

    ·Assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for their assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.

    ·Monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.

    ·Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.

    The Role

    ·Support change management processes.

    ·Support the overall wellbeing of staff members and identify areas for concern.

    ·Manage talent and succession planning.

    ·Oversee and refine employee standards and procedures, using existing HR systems as well as improved or recommended processes.

    ·Exceptional organisational and communication skills with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation.

    ·Champion the onboarding process by ensuring that it's high-quality and up to date, and provide clarity and connection for employees so their roles serve the overall business vision.

    ·Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management meetings, resolving employee grievances, training managers in how to coach and discipline, and counselling managers.

    ·Support the Group HR Director developing and delivering strategic HR plans.

    ·You should be a proactive team player with strong problem solving skills.

    ·Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change.

    ·Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human-resources policies and procedures.

    ·Support the Group HR Director to develop a strong, capable and stable workforce.

    Qualifications

    • CIPD Level 5

    Experience and Knowledge

    ·Strong leadership skills to guide the HR team and support and motivate staff.

    ·Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team.

    ·Five or more years of experience in human resources.

    ·Strong hands on experience with TUPE.

    ·In depth understanding of UK employment law and recognised best practice with the ability to conceptualise and deliver solutions to complex problems.

    ·Personal credibility and gravitas with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

    ·Take an innovative approach to problem solving.

    ·Strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
