    Description

    Our client, a well-established property developer, is looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their team in Farringdon. They have recently acquired new clients in the area and need a skilled Architect to join them. This is an exciting opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant to advance their career in a dynamic environment. The company has a strong focus on sustainable architecture, a value they expect candidates to share.

    The ideal Part II Architectural Assistant should demonstrate excellent design and technical skills through a high-quality portfolio. The company follows a sustainable business model and takes pride in their architectural approach. Projects range from individual homes to larger developments. Previous experience, ideally in residential or hospitality sectors, is preferred for this role as they need someone who can hit the ground running. Proficiency in Vectorworks, their primary software, is highly desirable.

    This role offers a great opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant to grow within a busy office with a diverse range of projects, mainly in residential and hospitality sectors. You'll get to work for a property developer with a comprehensive business approach.

    Part II Architectural Assistant Position Overview

    • Produce design details
    • Create Design and Access Statements
    • Deal with a variety of listed buildings
    • Work on feasibility studies, planning applications, and tender packages
    • Create high-quality drawings using Vectorworks
    • Engage with local councils and other professionals
    • Contribute to projects in Hospitality & Residential sectors

    Part II Architectural Assistant Position Requirements

    • Proficiency in Vectorworks software (Desirable)
    • Interest or prior experience in listed buildings
    • Previous experience in Hospitality or Residential sectors is a plus
    • Convenient access to Farringdon area
    • Highly motivated and a team player
    • Strong design skills and a relevant degree

    Part II Architectural Assistant Position Remuneration

    • Competitive salary (£28,000 - £35,000 DOE)
