- Lead the design of electrical harnesses and associated components, including definition of harness architecture, circuit topology and power distribution.
- Support electrical installation design such as harness routing and packaging of electronic components.
- Ensure electronic systems and installations fully comply with the FIA technical regulations.
- Generation of technical documentation to support harness manufacture, car assembly, car operation and updates.
- Support development of off-car systems, internal test facilities and rigs.
- Resolution of electronic system faults.
- Educated to degree level in an engineering subject or similar.
- Experience with the specification and design of top-level motorsport wiring harnesses, including proficiency with electrical system design packages, for example Zuken E3 or VeSys Electrical.
- Proficiency in electrical installation design using 3D CAD, ideally using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Experience with the design of low volume prototype analogue and digital electronic circuits.
- Experience with automotive electronic systems and communication protocols.
- Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
- Is self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
- Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel.
- Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.

The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team.
Job description:
We have an opportunity for a Senior Electronic Systems Designer to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will lead the design of on and off-car electrical and electronic systems. At Andretti Global, we aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team.
