    Job Description Version 1's market leading Enterprise Applications Practice specialises in Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Payroll Solutions with over 650 Oracle Specialists across the UK, Ireland, US, Australia, India and Slovenia.

    We deliver consulting and managed services to transform and optimise ways of working for more than 230 customers through the provision of specialist knowledge right across the Oracle product stack – Oracle Fusion Cloud for ERP, HCM and EPM, eBusiness Suite, JDEdwards, Peoplesoft and Hyperion, not to mention extensive expertise in Analytics, Infrastructure, and Integration.

    ~The Lead Deal Architect (LDA) performs a key role within the Version 1 organisation, working to design and turn Version 1 offerings into defined propositions to meet the business and technological objectives of new and existing clients across Private and Public Sector Markets.

    Working closely with Version 1 commercial and Managed Service teams, the LDA will identify, qualify and act as overall Solution Owner on new business opportunities, utilising Version 1 and wider solution experience to drive architectural and strategic initiatives for our clients.

    The LDA will be a leader capable of steering commercial, pre-sales and delivery teams, utilising the combined expertise of these functions to ensure the delivery of winning propositions balanced perfectly between clients' technical and commercial evaluation criteria.

    The LDA must have experience of complex bidding environments, associated procurement processes and they will have contributed to all phases of the sales lifecycle from early-stage sales qualification, solutions design and approval, contract negotiation, transition and into steady state service delivery.

    Creation and maintenance of high quality material to be utilised within the bid process

    Development and maintenance of a comprehensive understanding of multi-sectoral IT market trends, product offerings, services and propositions across a range of Oracle Application systems.

    Commercial management of complex bid propositions and solutions, ensuring service and resource cost collation, cost review and 'pricing to win' analysis

    Delivering both business and technical solution strategy to support the ongoing enhancements to their systems, working towards goals for digital business services.

    Definition of high-level Enterprise IT/Digital Transformation strategies based on consulting-led practices and methods.
    Design and delivery of innovation programmes e.g. solution proof of value projects, roadmap planning etc
    Development of strong and effective relationships with senior business stakeholders within key customer accounts.
    Delegation of work appropriately and effectively to technical & downstream resources and management to successful completion.

    Excellent knowledge across Oracle Applications
    Oracle Cloud SaaS (Fusion) across ERP, SCM, EPM, HCM and Payroll
    Technical knowledge across Oracle Oracle PaaS, IaaS

    This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these officesDublin, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, or London and also some occasional client site travel.
