    With a team of around ninety professionals, we operate from our office and workshop in Zaandam and since 2019 from the UK regional office in Aberdeen.

    This offers the opportunity to experience the entire process up close, from designing to building the cranes and equipment, which ensures an ultimate collaboration between all departments.

    For our branch office KenzFigee UK in Aberdeenshire, we are looking for an experienced Service Engineer with PLC knowledge an advantage.

    The duty of the Senior Service Engineer will be to work offsite, onshore or offshore to carry out maintenance schedules and repairs to offshore cranes or similar offshore equipment.

    There may be short terms of work at the onshore service base. The Service Engineer supports the clients requirements as directed by the operations and engineering department. You will have excellent experience hydraulic and mechanical systems.

    As Service Engineer you will rotate at the Service Department and will be responsible for leading and coordinating service teams on the worksite.

    For the Service Department you will be assigned to go to site, which can be all over the world from Aberdeen to Brazil, from Singapore to Middle East.

    On customers' site (offshore and onshore) you fulfil an important role to ensure that the cranes or equipment are working properly.

    This involves assembling, commissioning, testing and also inspecting and maintaining the cranes and equipment.
    Minimum completed college/apprenticeship level of education in a technical direction;
    Minimum 7 years relevant work experience in a technical environment;
    Good knowledge of English language in speech and writing;
    Preferably experience in at least two of the following disciplines: mechanics, electrics, PLC and hydraulics;
    Preferably familiar with the offshore safety standards and requirements;
    Your tasks within the Service Department on customers' location include:
    Carry out repairs and modifications as dictated by the engineering department;
    Be able to fault find problems and liaise with onshore engineering assistance as required;
    Assembling, installing and testing systems and installations;
    Replacing parts (hydraulic/mechanical/electrical);
    Replacement of steel cables;
