Description
We are recruiting for a Specialist Radiographer MRI/CT who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will have MRI experience and ideally some CT experience as well.Based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, you will perform a range of MR and CT examinations, and will participate in a cross site rota with our sister site at the new QEII Hospital.
In addition to general MR examinations, there is a fortnightly paediatric session for sedated and general anaesthetic cases and a dedicated session for patients with conditional pacemakers with support from cardiology.
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, forward thinking and highly motivated radiographers, with good communication skills and team working ethic.
We all work together as a team and help each other as much as we can
Training will be provided to support you in your role.
The Trust currently has 5 CT scanners (Siemens and Toshiba) and 3 Siemens MRI scanners (3T and a new 1.The department also has CR/DR systems, integrated with Carestream PACS and encompass a comprehensive range of equipment including DR general and dental rooms, flat plate interventional room, CT, MRI, Breast Imaging, DXA Scanning, Nuclear Medicine SPECT, flat plate image intensifiers and a wide range of Ultrasound services.
The successful candidate will take part in a 7 day working shift pattern.
