    The Role

    Our client is a well-established, fast growing food manufacturer.

    The successful candidate should be able to establish new products whilst being able to innovate the existing products to company standard.

    They are looking for a NPD Manager to drive the development of new & existing products.


    Duties and responsibilities:


    To be responsible for the success commercially of new & existing products as well as trials, packaging and development of the product.

    To consistently look at consumer insights and use the feedback to drive innovation of the product.

    To coordinate with suppliers to ensure the best quality raw materials, packaging materials and everything needed to ensure smooth production.

    To lead, develop and motivate the NPD team and oversee their performance/personal development.
    To work closely with the production to ensure any issues related the product are minimised and prevented.

    Sharing information as well as insights with the leadership team in a collaborative effort to ensure company goals are met.

    To be able to collaboratively evaluate existing/new products with the senior management team.
    The Candidate/Qualifications

    Proven experience of new product development within the food industry.
    Strong knowledge of ingredients as well as knowledge of production processes to be able to ensure flawless end product.
    Naturally creative thinking, with a passion for innovation.
    Commercially aware of all high standards of quality and food safety.
