    Here at Hampton's Resourcing we are delighted to be working in partnership with an innovative and well-established children's social care provider in the recruitment for a Deputy Head Teacher to be an integral part of their specialist SEMH school.

    This exciting role is perfectly suited to an individual who is seeking the opportunity to be involved in the creation of a nurturing school environment, and to help lead a bespoke provision that is based on best practice developments.

    Working within a flourishing independent provider with excellent employee benefits and opportunities for personal development, this position will enable you to help shape a provision that is required by so many children and young people.

    You will be responsible for specifically leading on the uppers school provision within the school and ensuring that the curriculum is appropriately mapped against Ofsted expectations and students needs as outlined in their EHCPs
    You will help create effective positive and proactive working relationships amongst colleagues from across Education and Therapeutic Services, ensuring meaningful lines of communication are promoted with student, parents/carers, and external professionals/agencies
    You will help enhance educational standards by the effective development and implementation of an aspirational and engaging curriculum that strengthens the abilities and ambitions of our students and improves their skills for life
    You will assist the Head Teacher in providing dynamic and professional leadership for the school. You will be responsible for helping to set the vison & ethos of the school and creating a development plan that will secure its continued success and improvement, in line with Ofsted expectations and current best practices set out by DfE & legislation
    You will support the Head Teacher in continuing to ensure the highest standards of teaching so that pupils achieve their aspirations and achieve great outcomes
    At least 2 years' experience in a management role of an educational service or school
    Sound working knowledge of Ofsted education framework for delivery and inspection
    Must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ideally with a science specialism
    Ability to build effective working relationships through partnership working with Governors and/or local communities
