    Description
    Regulatory Finance Economist - up to £75,000 base - London, United Kingdom (hybrid)
    (at least 3 days office based per week)

    Chi Square Economics is partnering with a boutique economic consultancy which is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its growing economics team in London.

    The team tackles projects within the infrastructure space such as transport, energy, TMT, and water, and are now looking for an experienced economist to work across all these sectors within regulatory finance.

    If you're an economist already in London, or keen to relocate there, this could be the perfect move for you

    You will be a key member of the economics team working on predominantly microeconomics projects with a focus on regulatory finance (cost of capital, debt, financial modelling, using CAPM etc).

    You will also be part of an inclusive team that are experts in their field and motivated to remain the 'go-to' consultancy in this industry.

    As a Senior Consultant, you will be leading a small team of economists to answer complex questions from clients in the regulatory finance space.

    At least a Bachelor's degree in economics, econometrics, finance, or accounting (please note it will need to have an economics element)
    Strong knowledge in regulatory finance in the infrastructure space (e.g. working on cost of capital studies, infrastructure financing costs, equity etc).
