    Description

    We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a 6 month fixed term contract.

    This is a great position for someone looking to gain more experience in accounts and finance, as you will have the opportunity to experience a broad range of finance tasks.

    The position is based in our Central England office in Northampton, but some travel to our Worcester office will be required.

    To maintain the firm's purchase ledger by processing invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
    To process expenses in alignment with the requirements of the firm's departments and payroll.
    To assist with the processing of the firm's credit card statements.
    To assist other members of the finance team with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
    Ad-hoc reports from the firm's reporting software and practice management system
    Previous finance or accounts experience.
    Enthusiastic to learn and willing to engage in all projects & work as required.
    Flexible and able to switch between various tasks as required.
    Willing to travel to other offices across the firm as and when required.
    Willing and keen to study towards accountancy qualifications. (Full UK driving license and access to own transport.
