- Assisting the Quality Manager in managing Food Safety & Quality Systems.
- Performing site cleanliness inspections and microbiological evaluations following the established timetable and procedures.
- Taking samples and preparing relevant plant-based samples and finished goods.
- Conducting regular Quality Assurance line-checks to ensure product quality and packaging compliance.
- Maintaining a tidy work area and ensuring proper rotation of lab supplies (FIFO).
- Checking boreholes and gathering required technical data.
- Interpreting, documenting, and sharing sample analysis findings effectively and confidentially.
- Additional QA responsibilities such as equipment calibrations, inventory management, and involvement in internal and external inspections.
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance and/or Microbiology lab roles.
- Degree in natural or biological sciences, or relevant certifications in HACCP or Quality Assurance.
- Proactive attitude towards safety with strong problems-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Capability to promote a safety-centric atmosphere and adhere to health & safety guidelines.
- Comfortable working in shifts.
