    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the high standards of our products within the business services industry. Located in Wetherby, the role requires a meticulous individual with a strong background in engineering and manufacturing.

    Description

    • Assess, maintain and generate existing and new Standard Operating Procedures (SoP) and Quality Acceptance Standards (QAS).
    • Passionately drive QA standards including continuous improvement in all areas across the business. Help to develop a quality mindset across all teams.
    • Perform daily process confirmation audits across all areas internally and externally to identify noncompliance of quality procedures, standards, and specifications. Conduct non-conformance investigation feedback to various levels of management and coach production teams to achieve process compliance.
    • Be a QA representative during new product development (NPD) and product evaluation trials (PET) ensuring that such information is communicated to relevant stakeholders.
    • Write and maintain QA procedures.
    • Support the Management Systems team to meet the commitment to comply with QMS 9001:2015, EMS 14001:2015
    • Actively step up, make decisions and lead the team in the absence of the Quality Manager
    • Custodian of data and monitor departmental KPI's

    Profile

    • Internal auditing to recognised by certification
    • Ability to analyse problems, detect root cause and resolve issues.
    • Good awareness of 'right first time'(RFT), 'on time in full' (OTIF) metrics and targets.
    • Ability to meet and maintain SHEQ and 5s initiatives.
    • Proven track record of quality audit and inspection of suppliers.
    • A positive approach to problem solving.
    • Working Knowledge of ISO9001:2015.
