We have a great opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician at our Kerry site in Ossett, close to Leeds, West Yorkshire.
It is a full-time, permanent position with rotating days and nights, 12 hours shifts, Monday to Friday.At Kerry Ossett, we manufacture a variety of butters and spreads, including dairy-free products.
As the Quality Assurance Technician, you will collaborate with different teams on-site to ensure that products manufactured in our Kerry Ossett facility consistently conform to industry, company, and consumer expectations.

Your responsibilities as Quality Assurance Technician will include:
Conducting quality inspections on finished products, including metal detection, weights coding and labelling.
Performing recurring inspections such as the Kerry unique Golden 6 inspection, hygiene assessments, and assessments related to Glass & Perspex.
Distributing and reporting on relevant quality and food safety KPIs.Communicating with shift managers and the technical department regarding any issues that may impact product quality or safety.
Providing concise and accurate information to support quality related investigations.
Adhering to food safety, health and safety, and environmental standards.
Promoting a safety-first and quality-always culture.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with QC testing equipment.
Desire to work in a quality role.
Proficient in using computer programs such as Excel, OAL, ICCS and SAP.
