    Description

    Senior Python DeveloperAn incredibly high calibre, world renowned Multi-Strat hedge fund is looking for top Python Software Engineers to sit in a team building a genuinely greenfield, massively distributed, cross asset Data Platform.

    This platform will be fundamental to the firm and sit across multiple desks covering all Asset Classes at the firm.

    This programme of work is as greenfield as they come, it's not just stitching code on top of a pre-existing platform but building out the data platform from scratch at a very low level.

    Including involvement in design and architecture, as well as building bespoke tooling as opposed to using any third third party technologies.

    They're looking for very strong Python engineers with exposure to building data platforms in financial firms. Ideally exposure to the buy-side but relevant experience on the sell-side would also be interesting.


    Required:
    5+ years Python experience in an enterprise environment within finance.
    Good exposure to building or interacting with data platforms across the full data lifecycle. Strong Computer Science, Engineering (or a related subject) background.

    Able to work in a modern software engineering environment, using Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools including Scrum, git and CI/CD.
