    We're looking for Internal Control Manager to join our team in United Kingdom or remotely. If you're seeking for a challenging projects in a start-up environment with high autonomy and ownership this offer is for you


    Responsibilities:
    Create operational incident management program. Establish incidents monitoring system, identify root cause, coordinate remediation, and implementation plans
    Contribute to compliance and fincrime entity-wide risk assessments
    Enhance entity-wide risk register as well as develop corresponding policies, procedures, and methodologies
    Build and enhance framework for monitoring effectiveness and efficiency of controls
    Enhance framework for monitoring of key risk indicators, work with respective stakeholders to resolve them within expected timelines
    For controls forming part of the Compliance Program, the Internal Control Manager assists in the *Compliance Program testing, where required
    Leading role in risk analysis carried out annually to prepare an update of the control plan for the following year


    Requirements:
    ~ Experience working in Operational Risk Management within the finance or consulting industries
    ~2-3 years of experience as Control Manager in financial institution and experience of working with a team of analysts
    ~ Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks (experience in financial institution will be an asset)
    ~ Experience in building reports and conclusions for the management board
    ~ Strong communication skills presenting internal control and risk matters in an understandable way across various forums and levels of the organization with the right level of detail
    ~ Experience in conducting risk analyzes of the organization (not necessarily on your own, we accept that you have led the team) and built control plans
    ~ Adaptable to working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
    ~ A team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure
    ~ A highly organized and detail-orientated person with a right-first-time approach
    ~ Analytic thinker, with the ability to provide practical solutions
