    Description
    We are looking for a

    Senior Data Scientist:

    • work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and define use cases for leveraging data to drive business outcomes
    • assist and influence senior management in making key business decisions
    • mine and analyze data from various data sources to provide actionable insights
    • employ NLP, LLM, ML, and statistical methods to automate and optimize our Group Functions (Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, HR, IT, etc.)
    • have understanding of frontend and backend development.
    • manage, mentor, and enable technical talents to excel in their jobs

    Our Data Strategy, Platform, and AI/ML Competency are at the heart of UBS's Group Function to digitize and support the business processes in these functions.

    The team is globally based in Switzerland, UK, EMEA, APAC and the US
    BS or MS or PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related STEM fields


    • knowledge of a variety of AI techniques such as natural language processing, classification, clustering, optimization, deep neural network, good understanding of mathematical underpinning and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
    • hands on experience of using programming languages (Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data, develop models and derive insights.
    • hands on experience of database and analytical technologies in the industry
    • ability to develop experimental and analytical plans for data modeling processes
    • experience with data visualization tools
