We are supporting our client Train Together , based in Leicester , find their next Trainer Coach , within Early Years Learning.
This is a great opportunity to join a lovely company who offer a supportive environment with growth.This role is home based , however there will be a need for national travel.
As a Trainer Coach your role is to deliver high quality teaching, assessment, coaching and mentoring that will support the development of apprentices and adult learners working in the Early Years.
The vision is for learners to take charge of their learning and be supported to create a life-long personal and professional development plan.
Starting with the end in mind you will endeavour to enhance and improve skills, knowledge and practice that will enable learners to not only achieve their qualifications and/or apprenticeship standards, meeting gateway requirements and their end point assessment, but also the mindset, skillset and toolset for a rich and varied career.
As a Trainer Coach you will develop and nurture excellent relationships with all stakeholders both internally and externally by differentiating the learning and assessments, providing additional support where identified, and providing detailed feedback on progress and learner submissions.
Essential Requirements:
The applicant should hold the assessor qualifications (CAVA or equivalent)
Hold GSCEs A*-C grace or equivalent (e.g., Level 2 English and Maths Functional Skills)
Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Worked as a Team Leader or Manager in an Early Years environment.
A good understanding of holistic planning and assessment is necessary.
Professional occupational experience and qualification within their sector
Demonstration of your ability to develop curriculum and resources is essential.
Demonstrate leading on standardisation and evidence of contributing to the CPD of staff.
Must hold a full clean driving license and willing to travel nationally when required.
A good understanding and practised in mentoring and coaching.
Desirable:
Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualification (or equivalent)
Level 5+ qualified within ''sector specialism'' (childcare / early years)
Experience of Apprenticeship End Point Assessment (EPA)
Membership to occupationally relevant organisations
Experience across social childcare and playwork
