MusicTeacher responsibilities:

Planprepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to Musicstudents using creativity and innovation to keep the studentsengaged.

Assess and evaluate student progressproviding formal and informal feedback to students andparents.

Collaborate with colleagues to planprepare and participate in school events including extracurricularactivities.

Establish and maintain open andpositive communication with students parents andcolleagues.

Utilise a studentcentered approachto teaching encouraging independent thinking andproblemsolving.

Incorporate inclusive practicesinto teaching approaches recognising the diverse needs ofstudents.

Ensure accurate recordkeepingincluding attendance records and student data in line with theschoolspolicies.

MusicTeacher requirements:

QTS PGCEand strong academic record

Excellentcommunication skills both verbal and written.

Highly organised and able to manage competing demandseffectively.

Demonstrated ability to workeffectively as part of a team.

Passionate aboutteaching and creating a positive learningenvironment.

Salary

Thesalary for this Music position will be paid to scale on a permanentcontract to scaleMPS/UPS.
