    Control systems development for high-tech actuators


    We are pleased to be working with this innovative firmware group once more as they look to grow and add another talented engineer to their team.

    This expansion has been led by a significant number of new customers bringing with them new requirements and uses for the core technologies developed by this team.

    If you are a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge or a talented engineer looking for your next step up the ladder this might be the role for you.

    In essence they have developed techniques for the very accurate control of small mechanical devices such as actuators. There are innumerable applications for these technologies across multiple markets from consumer electronics to medical devices and beyond.

    New applications are actively researched and at the heart of all of this are advanced control algorithms integrated into embedded systems.


    Requirements:

    • Demonstrable commercial experience in embedded programming using C or C++
    • Practical software development skills such as writing automated tests, managing CI systems, and knowledge of scripting languages such as Python/Bash/PowerShell
    • Good degree in Electronics or similar from a well-respected university
    • Additional knowledge of cross platform development, electronics test equipment, or control theory are desirable but not required
