    Position Overview:

    Our client is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Group Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making across our global operations.

    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and analyse financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of journal entries.
    • Support the consolidation of financial results for multiple entities within the group.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and analysis for decision-making purposes.
    • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls and compliance processes.
    • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing input and analysis as required.
    • Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit issues.
    • Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their potential impact on the company's financial reporting.
      Qualifications:
      • Qualified ACA or ACCA
      • Proven expertise in statutory accounting, group accounting, consolidation and reporting.
      • Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations.
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
      • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
      • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
      • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
        Location:

        This position is based at our clients office in London, with occasional travel to international sites as required.
