    Shipping Administrator in Newport - Pertemps Cardiff

    Description

    Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Shipping Administrator for a client based in Newport. This role is temporary full time and ongoing.Pay Rate: £12.61Hours Per week: 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 3.00pm FridayFree Parking on siteAs a Shipping Administrator your duties will include.

    • Raising and issuing shipping documents.
    • Liaising with Freight Forwarders via email, online portals and over the telephone
    • Recording shipment details
    • Following up on Shipments not collected with 48 hours.
    • Tracking Shipments daily acting on any issues should they arise.
    • Filling all documents with the systems for audit purposes.
    • (Full training will be provided)
    The successful candidate for the Shipping Administrator role will also need the following skills.
    • Experienced IT user ideally using SAP would be advantageous.
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel
    • Accurate with inputting data into systems.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to solve problems.
    • Ability to work to strict times called and deadlines.
