Site Engineer – Landscaping Fixed Term Contract until end of March 2025We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our Earthworks/Landscaping team.
Reporting into our Earthworks/Landscape Package manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of our earthworks, drainage, fencing and landscaping package.
About our roleManaging surveying data such as as-builts, etc.Ensure all setting-out and quality control procedures are performed in a timely and efficient manner, so as not to impede the construction programme.
Liaise with foreman/works manager/subcontractor to ensure any clashes on site are managed to ensure continuity of workRegularly review procedures to ensure efficiency is maintained or betteredLiaise with quality/site engineer to ensure ITP criteria are fully adhered to and assist in completion of quality documentation through site recordsMaintain thorough site diaryfulfilling Health & Safety responsibilities by adhering to the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Management PlansEnsuring that all plant, transport and materials used on the site are of sufficient quality and quantity to complete the task in questionWorking with the appointed quantity surveyors to accurately measure and value the works carried outEnsuring that the site is maintained to the high standard expected by the management of the companyCross-referencing section programme to three weekly programme and ensuring compatibilityAssist in preparation of earthworks/landscaping sequencing and detailingAnticipate and innovate solutions to construction issuesAbout you - Skills & Experience You'll have demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer, coupled with experience of both of earthworks and drainage design.
You'll hold a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.You'll also have effective communication (both written and verbal), strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
