    Job Description

    Title: Design Assistant ( Couture & RTW )

    Role:

    As a Design Assistant at Miss Sohee you will work closely with the Creative Director, supporting both the technical and creative side of the design process. We are looking for a passionate candidate who is eager to learn and grow with the brand.

    You will be given tasks like below:

    • Sketch design options according to CD's directions on Ipad via Procreate on iPad
    • Create mood boards of collections together with the CD
    • Artwork on Adobe Photoshop and illustrator for embroidery / Prints
    • Communicate with suppliers in Europe, US, and other countries in Asia
    • Order fabrics from suppliers / Request samples
    • Create instructions for Embroidery artisans and regularly oversee and follow up with the process.
    • Design accessories shoes and bags on Adobe Photoshop
    • Create Private clients fabric and embroidery samples and organise fabrics archive
    • Look after designing invitations, packaging, logos via Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
    • Follow the critical path and organise embroideries, prints, fabric deliveries according to the deadline.
    • Attend Couture and RTW meetings with the team every week

    Skills :

    • Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop & illustrator, Excel
    • Highly organised and is able to multitask
    • Ability to draw proficiently on iPad via Procreate
    • Good knowledge of garment construction and pattern cutting
    • Very good attention to details
    • Ability to join the atelier and hand sew when needed.
    • Must have good knowledge of luxury fabrics
    • Must be fluent in English and speaking French, Italian and Korean is a plus.
