    Senior Architectural Technologist at Renowned Design Studio in Central London

    Are you a Senior Architectural Technologist looking for a role where your skills and values align perfectly with your professional goals? This is a great opportunity to join an expanding architectural team at a highly respected design studio.

    About the Role:

    As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in turning initial designs into viable solutions. Your responsibilities will include coordinating detailed information across all disciplines, managing package procurement, aligning programming with design deliverables, and assisting the contractor during construction. Additionally, you will serve as the primary contact for the site delivery team, addressing technical inquiries and reviewing sub-contractor details. Your capacity to lead Design Team and Coordination Meetings, along with communicating project status to management, will be essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide solid technical design support to project teams, ensuring successful project completion as per client requirements.
    • Act as a team leader, offering flexible and independent support to the project lead.
    • Supervise and manage technical project teams, facilitating effective client and contractor communication.
    • Coordinate Design Teams and sub-contractors efficiently.
    • Supervise day-to-day project needs at all phases, including design deliverables, technical information, site inspections, and condition surveys.
    • Monitor project progress, identifying design modifications that may impact fees or timelines.

    Qualifications:

    • HNC/HND in Architecture/Building Construction or BSc in Architectural Technology (or equivalent).
    • Member of a relevant professional institution (MCIAT or equivalent).
    • Thorough knowledge of Building Regulations and pertinent technical design guidance.
    • Proficiency in REVIT and Navisworks for Level 2 BIM projects.
