- Operate factory machinery including both manual & Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery in a safe and efficient manner and to the required specification as part of the steel fabrication team.
- Operate both CNC and manual equipment to fabricate steelwork.
- Provide general support to all operations in the Fabrication, Bundling & Overhead Line Stores area by moving materials and performing general duties as required.
- Work safely at all times following risk assessments and work instructions and maintain a clean working environment.

- Produce quality product in line with business quality management system.
- Work effectively and efficiently to meet production demands.
- Contribute to our continuous improvement approach and actively help to reduce waste in our processes.

- Experience in working in a Factory environment using CNC/Manual machinery
- Experience in the operation of overhead cranes and plant.
- Experience in forklift truck and telehandler operations
- Computer literate to read stock sheets.

Painter Brothers is one of the UK's leading specialist in structural steel manufacture. We have the capacity to produce in excess of 15,000 tones of steelwork each year.
