MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a business unit of Element Solutions Inc (NYSE: ESI). Element Solutions Inc is a leading specialty chemicals company whose businesses supply a broad range of solutions that enhance the products people use every day.

MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions i s a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. As part of our broader sustainable solutions platform, we also provide both chemistry and equipment for turnkey wastewater treatment and recycle and reuse solutions. Our industrial customer base is highly diverse and includes customers in the following end markets: appliances and electronics equipment; automotive parts; industrial parts; plumbing goods; construction equipment and transportation equipment.

Job Purpose

Our production team are the foundation of our business. Complying with SOP's to deliver good quality product, on time and in a safe manner allows us to deliver on our commitments to our customers around the world.

Safety and team work is at the forefront of what we do and our Production team take pride in their work and look for ways to continually improve.

Job Responsibilities

Preparing packaging for filling
Filling packaging with finished goods
Setting up production machinery
Using a barcode scanner booking in of finished goods
Moving finished goods into the warehouse
Ensuring the working environment is clean and safe at all times
Comply with EHS rules and regulations, maintain good safety work discipline.
Communicate and collaborate with multiple departments.
Prepare materials for work order and handle daily affairs of production.

Requirements & Qualifications

Good standard of general education
Computer literacy – MS Office suite, SAP and other proprietary databases
Numerate – working with figures, amounts and units of measures
Problem-solving expertise in a variety of situations
Being an effective team player to support the Manager and Lead Hand where necessary
Willing to undertake additional training

Skills

Organised and methodical, with a high level of attention to detail
Good housekeeping practices
Positive communicator
Ability to work from own initiative
The ability to operate a forklift truck is a requirement (full training and licensing can be provided)
