    JOB DESCRIPTION



    Wood has an opportunity for an Systems Administrator (Bentley Projectwise) to assist in developing and managing a project and corporate Projectwise Environment, strategy, and deployment. This position is based in the Reading office and operates on a hybrid basis.


    The Bentley Systems ProjectWise Administrator plays a key role in supporting the ProjectWise Administrative team by handling tasks like planning, installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. They also provide customer support services, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and training to meet customer requirements.



    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Strong communication skills for training and technical documentation
    • Knowledge of software design concepts and methods to configure and support technical architecture for Bentley ProjectWise and other enterprise applications
    • Ability to configure and administer Bentley ProjectWise and enterprise-level applications, including installations, maintenance of environments, patching, upgrades, and code management
    • Familiarity with SQL databases, SQL scripting, Windows OS, and batch scripting
    • Assisting with ProjectWise system administration support, including software installation and server configuration
    • Supporting customized environments for planning, testing, and implementation before deploying upgrades and security patches
    • Analysis of system capability, development of functional requirements, business process design, and workflow integration
    • Resolving client service issues and disruptions caused by server problems
    • Researching and resolving functional development and production issues
    • Managing User Account access and rights based on business needs
    • Applying and maintaining ProjectWise system security in collaboration with Cyber Security organization
    • Participating in user interviews, requirements planning, and managing requirements documentation
    • Developing solutions for maintaining ProjectWise data integrity and creating accurate application documentation
    • Installing and configuring Bentley applications like MicroStation, IRASB, InRoads, and Facilities Planner
    • Troubleshooting and customizing MicroStation environments
    • Providing system training and participating in process workshops

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge of integrating information system components, performance tuning tools, and systems diagnostic techniques
    • Experience with Bentley applications, operating systems, and troubleshooting practices
    • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
