- Conducting a full review of a client's business and risk management plans
- Identifying areas that require change, offering advice on protection options
- Responsible for building a trusting relationship with the client
- Work closely with our clients and introducers to understand the risks they face and guide them on how to mitigate them
- Proven experience as an advisor or consultant resolving business-related issues is desirable
- Knowledge and experience working in business insurance or employee benefits, with specific experience in individual and group risk business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential
- Ability to clearly understand and articulate the financial aspects of business protection insurance
- Ability to analyse complex information and large data sets accurately
- Proven ability to provide a high level of client service and excellent negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a high-pressure environment while meeting agreed targets and deadlines
- Must hold a valid UK driving license
- Professional qualification such as CeMAP/Dip CII is preferred, but not essential

Our client based in Southend is looking to expand their friendly team of insurance professionals who are committed to supporting the UK SME market by helping them address financial risks.
Role DescriptionThe Business Protection Advisor would be responsible for working with our clients to identify and address the risks associated with losing any of their workforce.
Day-to-day tasks include* 65.00% of the net commission where you have had a quarterly cash in of at least £50,000 in the previous quarter
* 57.50% of the net commission where you have had a quarterly cash-in between £37,500 and £49,999.99 in the previous quarter
* 50.00% of the net commission where you have had a quarterly cash-in of under £37,500 in the previous quarter
