    Advanced Nurse Practitioner

    Remote - UK Based only

    Permanent

    Part time and Full time hours available

    We can offer a minimum of 16 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours per week

    We have sessions available from 6am up until 10pm, Monday to Sunday availability.

    We have an incredible opportunity to join our Remote Services team as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Bupa, you will deliver primary care consultations to customers of Bupa Health Clinics (BHC) in accordance with national, local, and internal policies and guidelines, ensuring a high-quality service which delivers high customer satisfaction digitally.

    You'll help us make health happen by:

    Clinical Quality and Delivery:

  • Delivery of Advanced Nurse Practice primary care services remotely, understanding there may be circumstances where it is necessary to refer customers to be seen face to face in a Bupa Centre or an alternative primary or secondary care provider.
  • Undertake clinical work in accordance with the National Framework of Advanced Clinical Practice, and in line with the NMC professional code of conduct as well as the Bupa code of conduct.
  • Always provide services within individual clinical scope, referring customers onto a GP or other clinician as needed and in line with internal referral processes.
  • Governance & Compliance

  • Engage in incident reporting and investigation as outlined in our BHC incident Management and reporting policy.
  • Participate in internal competency assessments and annual clinical review.
  • Undertake NMC revalidation every 3 years.
  • Deliver best practice care to a wide variety of corporate and self-paying primary care customers following Bupa's clinical governance, policies, procedures, guidance materials and quality standards, following professional codes of conduct.
  • Customer

  • Deliver outstanding professional and customer service standards and proactively contribute ideas to the remote clinical leadership team including the Lead Physician, service team manager and central operations manager for continuous improvement.
  • Promote Bupa positively and proactively to employees, corporate clients and customers, developing effective working relationships with Bupa colleagues and the wider Bupa team.
  • Where appropriate, promote other Bupa services such as internal referral pathways.
  • Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

    Education & Qualifications

    Essential

  • Current NMC Registration (Adult Nurse) with no restrictions to practice
  • MSc in advanced clinical practice (If you do not have a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice but hold ANP credentialing with the RCN we can consider your application)
  • Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
  • Experience and knowledge:

    Essential:

  • Clinical Practice as a registered Nurse (Minimum 3 years)
  • Primary Care Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Minimum 2 years post MSc qualification)
  • Independent Prescriber (Minimum 2 years)
  • Current Basic Life Support Certificate
  • Current Safeguarding Children and Adult Level 3
  • Ability to evidence implementation of the four pillars of advanced practice
  • Desirable:

  • Previous experience in remote working
  • Previous experience in private practice
