    Description
    We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Content Lead (Women's) to join our Content and Digital department.

    The post holder will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the creative editorial and social media team – alongside the wider content team (video and photography) to deliver outstanding women's team coverage that resonates with our fanbase.

    We are looking for a proactive and skilled Content Lead who has experience in social media platform management and journalism.

    You will be responsible for managing written and social day-to-day content output across all of our Aston Villa Women's channels including the club's official website, X, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook to provide unified coverage of Aston Villa to our fans.

    You will also provide live match coverage for all women's matches as well as conduct midweek and post-match interviews with players and coaches in collaboration with the wider content team.

    We are looking for a content professional with a desire to help grow and enhance our coverage as it pertains to the Women's channels.

    The ideal candidate will have previous demonstrable experience in social media platform management and journalism as well as knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.

    You must be able to communicate in a clear, concise and accurate manner, manage multiple creative projects effectively and be able to make effective and quick decisions in a fast-paced sporting environment.

    You must also be available to work flexibly as this role will require you to work evenings and weekends and hold a full UK driving licence.
