    Description

    Introduction:

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner with a strong technical and analytical background, and extensive experience in B2C / e-commerce / health-tech for both mobile and web platforms.     Your responsibilities across the business:

    Plan & Prioritise

    • You will own the product/feature backlog and roadmap, ensuring that tasks coming up for development are properly scoped and that their impact is well understood across all facets of the business
    • Make product decisions based on evidence that provides a clear rationale of why features should or should not be prioritised, for both immediate and longer-term initiatives
    • Balancing competing priorities of end-user experience, partnerships, revenue opportunities, and technical constraints when defining requirements for products

    Build & Deliver

    • Communicate both the overarching priorities and technical details of key projects
    • Create detailed functional specifications and requirements that can be understood and acted upon by the engineering team
    • Function as liaison between engineering and design teams to directly manage the product design process, balancing technical constraints with optimising user experience
    • Oversee project progress throughout the entire lifecycle and ensure actual product development keeps to agreed on requirements

    Iterate & Improve

    • Work closely with data analytics team to continuously measure product performance; hands-on experience with data analytics tools and metric definition is a must-have
    • Utilise customer feedback and collaborate across departments to glean insight into user experience in all aspects of the business
    • You will work with a wide variety of customers ranging from independent shop owners to corporate directors to understand client requests and guide the product backlog and planning process
    • You will champion a fast-paced and iteratively-improving product and engineering process in the team, leading by example to motivate others to deliver at their very best, and acting as a resource of business-wide knowledge for others

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in product management, specifically in B2C / e-commerce /health-tech startups. Experience in the healthcare domain is a bonus
    • Someone who enjoys the 'startup' mentality, where focusses can shift, alongside the development and delivery of more strategic solutions. A strong candidate has a clear willingness to take initiative on tasks ranging from large to small
    • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to work hands-on with engineers to define detailed product requirements and specifications
    • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, and effectively communicate methodology and progress to executive management
    • Strong project management skills: process-oriented, organised, and high attention to detail
    • Ability to stay organised and prioritise conflicting demands while working independently in a deadline-driven environment
    • Proven understanding and hands-on involvement in the design and delivery of widely-used and highly-rated web and native mobile applications
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, and experience using data to make informed product decisions. A quantitative mindset and keen to gather data to form decisions
    • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Ability to be candid and to-the-point in tough conversations
    • A creative problem solver with the ability to find solutions to complex challenges
    • Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced startup where exceptional delivery under pressure against timelines is the norm.
    • (preferred) Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, such as a Bachelor's degree.

    On-site work required at least 3 days per week. Healthera will be opening a London office by July 2024, location to be confirmed. Head office located in Cambridge, UK. Either office can be used.
