    Deputy EditorCovent Garden, LondonFull time (4 days in office, 1 day from home)

    Salary:
    £26000paMy client, a leading B2B publisher is looking for a Deputy Editor to join their busy digital and print editorial team in their London office.

    Your day to day duties will include commissioning, editing and proofing, uploading digital content, sourcing images and writing marketing materials.

    You need to be hard-working, enthusiastic and capable of managing your own workload.

    Main responsibilities * Commissioning editorial content and maintaining strict deadlines * Editing and proofing editorial and marketing copy across the publications * Meeting print and digital deadlines and maintaining strong relationships with clients * Writing e-newsletters, headlines and other marketing copy * Using social media to promote news, features and other content * Assisting team members during production cycles while managing own workload * Uploading digital content to the company website * Liaising with the Sales and Design teams.

    Knowledge/experience/skills/qualificationsRelevant Bachelors degree or equivalent (Media/English/Marketing)

    A minimum of 1-2 years editorial/publishing experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent editing and proofing skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detailAbility to meet deadlines and work well under pressureSelf-motivating and able to work efficiently without supervisionGood team player:
    enthusiastic, friendly, helpfulProficient in Microsoft officeFamiliar with Adobe, specifically InDesign (desirable)
