- Engage with suppliers of finished assemblies (internal or external suppliers) and ensure their delivery to both quality and timing standards
- Contribute to the delivery of the area onto all projects, in line with the systems engineering discipline outlined by the off-cycle technology delivery framework
- Identification of new failure modes and detection methods of Next gen eMotor Concepts and its subassemblies. Assist and contribute to the generation of DFMEA
- Support Validation Engineers in the functional testing of next-gen eMachines sub-assemblies, providing input to design validation methods for failure avoidance
- Able to work effectively with design teams to develop and optimise solutions considering multi-attributes within defined deadlines and time constraints
- Previous experience in supplier management.
- Previous experience in delivering engineering or analytical projects
- Previous experience and background in the design of new concepts and ideas
- Ability to present to technical engineers and stakeholders

WHAT TO EXPECT
Unleash your inner passion by joining JLR in our new eMotor Components Engineer position. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the subcomponents for the electric machine concept builds, ensuring that all the parts for the electric motor and associated subassemblies are received from suppliers and built to manufacturable standards.
You will liaise with the rest of the Next Gen eMotor Concept group, the CAD team, and the EDU system teams to obtain sub-component specifications and drawings and will engage with suppliers in technical discussions. You will receive support from designers and will also be taking an active role in resolving technical issues that arise during concept development phases and capturing design changes.
