Are you passionate about helping students unlock their full potential in English? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in English to join our dynamic team at Brighton Met College.
As a Lecturer in English, you will play a vital role in inspiring and guiding our 16-19 year old students through their GCSE English course.
Your expertise and enthusiasm will ensure our students are equipped with the knowledge needed to excel in their English GCSE and enable them to develop key english skills for everyday life.
Our college is a hub of creativity and innovation, dedicated to preparing students for success in their future endeavors.Key Responsibilities of our Lecturer in English:
Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.
Developing curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.
Keeping up-to-date with current issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational sector.
Participating in marketing activities and promote the College for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment.
Our ideal Lecturer in English should have the below skills and experience:Level 3 (or equivalent) in related subject
Relevant industrial/commercial/subject experience
Ability to work alone and as part of a team with interpersonal skills
Innovative and creative in meeting the needs of learners
