    Job Description

    AECOM is currently recruiting a Senior GIS Consultant/Analyst to join the Geospatial Team in the Digital Environment Practice Area. In this role, you will contribute to GIS project delivery, collaborating with internal and external clients on projects of various scales and complexities.

    • Utilize Geographic Information Systems software and database management skills to support diverse projects locally and internationally.
    • Work on projects in sectors such as Power/Renewables, Infrastructure, and Transport using Esri technology stack.
    • Collaborate with team members to enhance workflows, ensure delivery efficiency, and promote technical excellence in GIS.

    Job Duties

    • Support GIS projects in a diverse environment.
    • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to analyze and present spatial information effectively.
    • Enhance automation through scripts and FME workbenches to address unique data transformation requirements.
    • Manage spatial and non-spatial data while adhering to best data management practices.
    • Deliver geoprocessing/analysis tasks efficiently using coding skills in ArcPy, Python, and/or Arcade.
    • Provide consultancy to clients, understanding their needs and delivering innovative GIS solutions.
    • Maintain quality delivery within set standards and best practices.
    • Ensure quality assurance of all deliverables and follow internal and client-mandated review processes.

    Qualifications

    Key Skills Required:

    • Proven experience in managing GIS projects.
    • Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Esri mobile apps, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
    • Experience with FME Form for data conversion tasks and geospatial data analysis.
    • Strong understanding of spatial data structures and GIS fundamentals.
    • Knowledge of enterprise geodatabases and ArcGIS Enterprise platform.
    • Problem-solving skills to identify efficient solutions for client requirements.
    • Ability to design custom geospatial solutions using open-source or proprietary tools.
    • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in diverse teams.
    • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and deliver high-quality GIS input.
    • Proficient in project task delivery within specified requirements.
