Description
Future PLC requires a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst for its Consumer division.Future Plc is a global platform for specialist media, home to some of the world's most famous website brands including Techradar, GamersRadar, Golf Monthly and Homes and Gardens.
The role is responsible for providing financial support to the Vertical Managing Directors (VMDs) for the division.Producing month end reporting decks and analysis on headcount and overhead spend, this role will be a key point of contact for the business.
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager for Consumer, the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will manage month end reporting & analysis for the Consumer division.
They will be producing decks for Monthly Business Reviews, forecasting and budgeting overhead spend and supporting the Commercial Finance Manager in producing more ad hoc analysis supporting the business GAS strategy.
Month end Reporting & AnalysisSupport Management Accounting hub with maintaining accuracy of month end overhead review files, supporting the Commercial Finance Manager on resolving any queries
Understanding horizontal performance for revenue, cost of sale and commercial recharges to assist in delivering meaningful analysis of results of the full P&L Support Commercial Finance manager in preparing performance analysis and commentary versus budget / forecast/ YoY.
Support VMDs in understanding variances relating to the brand and vertical P&L's and aid in commentary for monthly review packsManagement Accounting
Ensure that proper records and reconciliations are maintained to support the company financial records (P&L and Balance Sheet)
Monitor business as usual financial processes and controls and drive continuous improvement to maximise efficiency and effectiveness
Experienced, part-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
Intermediate/ Advanced excel/ google sheet
