Job Description:

The LogisticsTechnician will work as part of the logistics team to maintain highperformance for all departmental standards including safetytimeliness quality/accuracy security and productivity.

Responsibilities will include receiving shipments transferringmaterials to and from storage locations packaging and palletizingproducts and other tasks necessary for an efficient shipping andwarehousing operation.

The Material Handler must aim to achievehigh customer service standards consistently. In addition thisperson will also be expected to work proactively on multiple taskswith autonomy. The work schedule is 8 hours 1st shift and/orpossibly modified 1st shift to support late afternoon shipments.
Overtime work may be needed periodically.

Job Description

Through observation of work area(s) it isalert to and avoids unsafe behaviors and conditions or otherhazards. Reports any observed hazards to the supervisor. Strictlyadhere to all safety policies including but not limited to HAZWOPERElectronic Communications Policy (ECP) and LOTO policies.
Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote asafe work environment.
Safely and efficiently operatestheir assigned tasks to meet the daytoday productivity goals of theteam.
Follow all work processes and work instructionsrelevant to specific assignments.
Prepare cylinders forshipments (Removing Old Labels Painting Inspecting/CheckingWrapping Valve Labeling With Appropriate Information Per AirLiquide And D.O.T Requirements Barcode Scanning Loading On PalletsEtc)
Perform shipping and receiving related ERP (SAPHANA) transactions
Ensure accuracy of all transactionswithin ERP (SAP HANA) to ensure accurate data for operationalefficiency
Prepare shipping paperwork according to AirLiquide Policy and D.O.T regulations.
Contact CommonCarriers and Air Liquide locations to coordinate delivery andpickup of cylinders and other materials.
The shipReceive and Deliver supplies materials and equipment
Operate a forklift to load and unload carrier trucks
Load and unload sea containers including appropriate blocking andbracing in line with IMO IMDG and Customs requirements
Maintain Inventory Control records
Conduct inventorycycle counts
Collaborating with internal departments tolocate a cylinder or canisters
Verifying the accuracyof quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
Keepall material handling equipment s in the best condition byconducting regular inspections
Escalates any potentialSafety or Quality concerns
Maintain a clean neat andorderly work area
Assist in maintaining the security ofthe warehouse
Comply with all company safety policiesand OSHA and MSDS Standards
Complete all assignedtraining

Ability to roll cylinders Rolling cylindersrequire an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with one hand anduse the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it.

Fitness for duty including but not limited to theability to lift 50 pounds and can climb ladders.
Required Qualifications:

High School Diplomaor GED
3 years of relevant industry experience inlogistics operations (shipping receiving warehouse operationsinventory management)

Ability to roll cylinders thatweigh up to 200 lbs Rolling cylinders require an individual to tilta cylinder slightly with one hand and use the other hand to movethe cylinder forward by rolling it.

Ability to work atboth ALAM Pennsylvania sites
Must be certified to drivea forklift
Strong customer service orientation
Proven analytical and problemsolving abilities
Ability to follow all work instructions and safetyprotocols
Ability to understand the properties andhazards associated with chemicals and compressed gases
Experience in filing IMO AES and ISF
Must be a quicklearner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyand maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges
Must be organized with attention to detail and the ability tofollow directions to meet deadlines
Must have goodwritten and verbal communication skills and be very capable ofregular interaction with all support departments
Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office includingOutlook Word and Excel
Computer literate with GoogleDocs Sheets & Slides
Knowledge of 49 CFR 15 CFR DOTIATA and IMDG regulations
Perform all required trainingas they are assigned

Work Conditions:

Physical Qualifications:

Must be able to move around a large warehouse for eightor more hours in a fastpaced environment
Must be ableto lift to 50 pounds on a regular regularly
Ability toclimb ladders
Significant manual dexterity for keyingin data for long periods

Must be cleanshaven and ableto pass a respiratory test medically and a physical test to wear afullface respirator as required.

HighestLevel of Education Required for this Position:

High SchoolDiploma/GED required
Qualifications (IE SAP ExperienceExcel Knowledge Any Certifications Years of Experience in CertainFields):
