We will rely on you to: - Perform monthly Balance Sheet quality reviews according to the global standard
- Communicate with Accounting Operation Teams regarding findings and improvement areas for Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist operations teams in Balance Sheet cleansing activity
- Prepare and update training materials
- Educate colleagues across the organization about the global requirements
- Assist team manager with supervising the Global Balance Sheet Quality team
- Leading various reporting, dashboard & change initiatives for global MMC Accounting Operations
- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks, projects, and initiatives as required
What you need to have: - In depth knowledge/experience within General Ledger or similar
- Experience presenting/coaching or delivering training to teams.
- University degree (finance / economics) or recognized accounting qualification
- High level of fluency in English
- Working knowledge of ERP Accounting systems
- Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint (together with visual presentation skills)
- Process analysis or mapping skills, ability to formulate conclusions and recommendations.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and deliver results to short timescales.
