My client is an innovations creative agency, dedicated to crafting innovative, engaging, and culturally relevant content that resonates with audiences. From digital experiences to immersive events, our client pushes boundaries to redefine storytelling to captivate and inspire audiences.
We're seeking a passionate and experienced board-level Project Management and Operations Delivery Director to lead the execution of our projects with precision and excellence.
Role Overview:
As the Project Management and Operations Delivery Director, you will be responsible for managing a high-performing team, overseeing the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards in terms of finished assets. Your role will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency, implementing best practices, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture within the agency.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the creative user experience on social platforms such as TikTok, FB, YouTube, Snap, IG, etc and be able to drive creative teams to meet their deadlines to meet and surpass client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional creative teams to deliver projects that exceed client expectations and align with the agency's creative vision.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project management strategies and processes to optimise efficiency, mitigate risks, and maximise resource utilisation.
Player Coach Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for senior clients for, build strong relationships, and effectively communicate project status, timelines, and deliverables. Also serve as the escalation point for clients who are managed by your team members
Timings and Project Plans: Devise realistic and effective timings schematics and project plans for internal and external parties to work towards to ensure the smooth end-to-end delivery of client work
Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, manage project budgets, and track expenses to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
Quality Assurance: Maintain a keen eye for detail and ensure all deliverables meet the agency's quality standards and client requirements.
Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices, and streamline workflows to enhance operational efficiency. Oversee the introduction of tools and tech as well as processes that will transformative to the business and drive efficiencies and profitability
Team Development: Mentor, coach, and develop project management, delivery and operations teams to foster growth, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues proactively, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure contingency plans are in place to address unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, operations, or related leadership role within a creative agency, publisher or social platform or similar environment.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget, with a strong emphasis on quality and client satisfaction.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, JIRA, etc) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Passion for popular culture, creativity, and storytelling.
Management experience – working with senior internal and external stakeholders and also the ability to develop, motivate and create high-performance work culture
