    We are hiring a Head of Planning for our client based in Northampton!

    Do you have what it takes to lead our Planning and Development team across Northampton and Hertfordshire offices? If so, keep reading:

    This fantastic full-time, permanent role offers a mix of working from home and in the office plus the chance to manage a small but great team.

    As the Head of Planning, your main goal is to take control of our clients' Planning & Development Advisory division. You will be in charge of ensuring its profitability, strategic growth, and overall success. Sounds exciting, right?

    Responsibilities:

    • Enhancing the quality of our services to meet the needs of our clients better
    • Becoming an integral part of our consultancy business that reaches far and wide
    • Providing expert planning and viability advice to various parties, such as landowners and local authorities
    • Matching available land with clients for development opportunities in different sectors
    • Expanding the range of services we offer, including development feasibility and project management

    Requirements:

    1. Demonstrated leadership and management skills to set strategies and KPIs for the division
    2. An inspiring leader who motivates the team to deliver high performance consistently
    3. Ensure compliance and enhance processes for optimal efficiency within the team
    4. Proven experience in a planning role, including team management
    5. Hold a valid UK driving license and RTPI membership
