    Description
    The Role

    This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Law Society library team as Deputy Librarian (Systems), responsible for our Library Management System, for playing a key role in delivering our legal enquiry service, and for reaching out to more of our 200,000 members remotely.

    You will be responsible for systems administration of our SirsiDynix Symphony with Enterprise LMS and all systems used by the team including the client relationship manager, call handling software and legal database subscriptions.

    You will be a senior member of the team, leading on library IT projects and driving continuous improvement across our library services.

    What we're looking for The ideal candidate will have proven experience of systems administration for SirsiDynix Sympho ny with Enterprise LMS or similar.

    You will be highly IT literate with effective problem solving skills and an ability to pick up new apps quickly.

    You will ideally have experience of legal information enquiry work and of research using hardcopy and online databases.

    With excellent interpersonal skills, you will confidently work with colleagues, account managers and users to deliver our fantastic professional enquiry service to the large membership of solicitors across England and Wales.
