Surrounded by twelve acres of gardens, woodland & parkland, and endowed with stunning views across rolling Warwickshire countryside, you will find the striking Italianate-style mansion and a former Catholic chapel of Bourton Hall.

Our country house boasts a wealth of history and character, with multiple reception rooms, bars and ceremony options, as well as 21 luxurious bedrooms including our gorgeous Honeymoon Suite, The Lady Bourton.

Our beautiful wedding venue had its first wedding in 2020 and has been offering dream weddings ever since.

Part of the Country House Weddings portfolio of hand-picked wedding venues, with more than 30 years of experience offering perfect weddings to couples, our exclusive-use, all-inclusive wedding packages take care of your wedding day from start to finish, overseen by our expert team.

From specialist wedding Chefs, experienced Personal Wedding Managers and a fantastic wait team, to knowledgeable grounds teams and passionate housekeepers, our teams pride themselves on providing a top-quality service that helps make our weddings a success.

We are recruiting a full-time
Sous Chef
. Reporting directly to our Head Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of our banqueting fine dining experience

work a quota of weddings per year split of 4 quarters basis, summer months are the busiest
Job Description

To produce food to a high standard in line with the Country House and Customer expectation, ensuring the reputation of The Venue and The Group
Support the Head and Sous Chef, stepping up when the Head Chef is absent to fully support Sous Chef.
To assist with training more junior team members and encouraging casual team members.
To attend chefs meetings and in house meetings as and when required
Hours will include Breakfast shifts and Evening Buffet Shifts, but no split shifts
To maintain health and hygiene standards, ensure up to date with all new and current legislation including allergens.
