This Sales & Marketing Assistant Internship is suitable for either a 6-12 month industrial placement for a student or a recent graduate looking for a position that may lead to permanent employment (including somebody graduating this Summer).

Please note that priority will be given to applicants who demonstrate specific interest in the fine wine industry, events organisation, proficiency in data analysis and a thirst for learning.
Honest Grapes is a fast-growing and award winning online wine business with two wine clubs, the Premier Crew (Premium wine on a subscription plan) and Grand Crew Classé (a Fine Wine concierge service with a team of Wine Gurus serving our Club Members).
We also have a hospitality (on-trade pub, restaurant and hotel) facing business in Warrington, Cheshire.We are looking for a highly numerate, literate, self-motivated, dedicated, target-focused individual to join the team as a Marketing Assistant (Intern).
This will give you the opportunity to learn about a real ecommerce wine business and contribute to our growth.Devise and deliver a series of events to promote Honest Grapes to fine wine private clients and on-trade customers
Produce marketing collateral for our web sites, emails and social media.
Undertake a series of market research and data analysis projects.
Analyse sales and product data to understand trends and opportunities.
Research opportunities in the fine wine market.
Ad hoc support to the rest of the team.
The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to think in a logical and organised way and run a series of marketing projects in parallel.
You should be able to analyse data using Excel and SQL and use reporting tools such as PowerBI and PowerPoint.
Market research techniques include being able to read and synthesise company financial data, internet and trade sources.You will be expected to produce written reports and marketing copy with excellent literacy in English.
Social media skills using Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and LinkedIn will be desirable.
Of course as an internship, we don't expect you to have all of these toolkits immediately, but a 'get up and go' approach to work is essential.
It is essential that you have an interest in learning about fine wine.It's a fascinating product, there are plenty of tasting opportunities and it's an unusual opportunity to learn about the business of wine.
If you are a student, your degree subject is likely to include business, wine and / or events managementThe position will be remunerated at the London Living Wage for postgraduates (National Living Wage if based in Warrington) with a graduate internship rate applying through a probationary period if you are under 23, and at a student internship rate if you are under 23 and offered the position as a fixed term internship contract.
