Are you ready to help us create 'Ever Better Energy'?Reporting to the Operations Manager and Plant Manager you will manage the operation of all quality, health and safety and environmental aspects of the plant.
You will foster an ethos of maximum plant reliability, flexibility and availability whilst still attaining high standards of quality, health and safety & environmental performance and compliance.
Provide HSE guidance to the plant team and support corporate initiatives whilst ensuring that statutory requirements and company policies and procedures are developed, reviewed, communicated and implemented appropriately.
Liaise with all third-party legislative bodies and provide reports as required concerning key metrics such as safety statistics, environmental performance, availability, efficiency and outage rate statistics.
Act as the site focus for compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.Support the management of change process, assisting to ensure that all new projects are Safety Rules Cleared before they are brought into the system.
Support RCA internal and cross site RCA investigations and promptly share the lessons of all serious safety incidents through Regional SHEQ.
Carry out training and authorisations for duties under the BWSC UK Safety Rules as required.NEBOSH or IOSH qualified with a good understanding of all HSE aspects.
Prior experience in Operations and/or Maintenance of a large processing facility or similar; Computer literate with Microsoft Office suite and ideally previous CMMS experience.
